A guide to decorating a nursery

For expectant parents decorating the nursery is a very exciting part of nesting. There are some amazing Pinterest finds to be had but deciding on a theme can be tricky and don’t even start on the different types of window treatments.
Scandi
When you are keeping the babies gender a surprise Scandi is a popular choice, which still allows you to have some fun. Once the baby arrives you can easily dress the room up with some blush, mint or duck egg blue accents.
For curtains there are many natural linen floor to ceiling option like Charles Parsons Capri with blockout lining, or for a more minimalist look a simple blockout thermal roller blind with fascia will make sure your baby has a good sleep.
Modern Monochrome
It is hard to go past black and white as a colour combo. Take a simple white room and add black and grey accessories to create a modern monochrome nursery that will impress. Check out the Sleep Stores classic cot in cool grey for the perfect coloured cot.
