James Dunlop
James Dunlop is a New Zealand based company with an extensive range, from cost effective to high-end designer fabrics and everything in between. They have a good variety to suit all tastes, their designs are contemporary and have mass appeal. James Dunlop fabrics come in a great selection of designs and colours to suit all applications and budgets. Theyâre one of our go-to fabric houses.
Founded in 1907 in Dunedin as a supplier of European fabric to retailers, the organisation is now run by the fourth generation of the Dunlop family.
James Dunlop Textiles has design studios in Sydney and Auckland bursting with creativity. This is where they research, develop and customise their fabrics. These designs are then created in collaboration with some of the finest mills around the world.
With a goal to always to create textiles that have longevity, that speak to trend but can suit the personal taste of the end user, James Dunlop are very good at what they do. With such high demand for their product, their warehouse has a staggering 11km of shelving from which around 50,000 metres of fabric is shipped worldwide every week.

Charles Parsons
Charles Parsons Interiors offer a moderate fabric range and a great range of sheers. Their range tends to land in the mid-price range. They have lots of coated options, and a few delightful staple fabrics that always look great.
Charles Parsons Interiors is part of the largest and most diverse textile and fabric wholesale group in Australia and New Zealand. Established in Sydney in 1915 supplying fabrics to suit manufacturers, they have diversified across almost every category where fabric or textiles are used and are now run by the fourth generation of the family.
Charles Parsons is incredibly switched on when it comes to fabric with deep technical and specialist textile knowledge. They even have a highly diversified textile testing laboratory in Australia making them a large contributor to the advancement of the global textile industry at large.
The Charles Parsons Group also have a proud environmental policy that states they will âconduct operations in an environmentally responsible manner, clearly reflecting a commitment to fostering the sustainable use of the Earthâs resources.â
Warwick
Warwick Fabrics is a respected name in interior furnishing textiles throughout the world and theyâve been supplying New Zealand for over 30 years.
What started out in 1985 as a husband and wife team based out of their home in Devonport is now part of the global Warwick Fabrics operation with established showrooms in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch. They have in-house design teams in Australia and the UK, and export to over 50 countries worldwide.
We choose to work with Warwick for their broad selection of fabrics and price points in qualities consistent with todayâs consumer expectations.
Warwick offer a nice range of fabrics that are slightly different to everyone else, with a mixture of price ranges. If youâre looking for colour and something standout, Warwick will have what youâre after. They have a good traditional range and plenty of florals.

Nettex
Nettex offer a great selection of coordinated ranges for when you want a flow between rooms or a mix and match theme within a room. Nettex have a way with different patterns offered in the same colour ways. A good middle of the road price point. Nettex also offer a lower priced range of fabrics that are a little different to other suppliers.
Studio G and Villa Textiles
Studio G is a relatively new player, launching their innovative approach to design only a couple of years ago. Interestingly, Studio G is the result of another company talented design team collaborating to bring a fresh, contemporary offer to the market to appeal to style-savvy yet value-demanding consumers.
That company is Clarke & Clarke, for whom Villa Textiles are the New Zealand distributors.
Studio G offer a vibrant collection of fashionable prints and weaves in their own distinctive style and many of their fabrics are made in the UK.

Textilia
Textilia was founded in 1979 and to this day still hold the same vision and enduring passion to provide innovative, quality furnishing textiles to the Australasian market. Their extensive In House range of fabrics are sourced from the worldsâ finest mills and always carefully selected with New Zealandâs unique lifestyle, natural environment and expectations of quality in mind.
Textilia are also New Zealandâs distributor for such renowned International brands as Sanderson, Morris & Co, Zoffany, Camengo, Misia and Duralee. This comprehensive mix of New Zealand stocked and global brands brings to the market a broad and leading edge selection of textiles for every space.

Maurice Kain
Youâve probably heard the name âMaurice Kainâ before. Thatâs because theyâve been supplying New Zealand and Australia with drapery and upholstery fabric for more than 60 years ago. Firmly established, Maurice Kain is one of the largest textile converters.
