Nelson Airport

Over-height spaces, fully integrated automation and guide wires. Sustainable fabrics were used throughout for all the roller blinds. The majority of the window treatments are fully automated, such as the sunscreen blinds that rise and lower in response to the atmospheric conditions.

Do Russells supply commercial curtains and blinds nationwide?

Yes. With over 150 staff, including commercial project managers, consultants and installers based from Cape Reinga to Bluff, we deliver and install across all of New Zealand.

Can you handle large-volume orders to a fixed timeframe?

Yes. We hold the largest manufacturing capacity in New Zealand, with a 2,000sqm blind production facility and a 1,500sqm sewing room, plus commercially rated fabrics in stock, so we produce high-volume orders to specific project timeframes.

Do you supply fire-retardant fabrics for commercial buildings?

Yes. We offer commercial grade fire-retardant fabrics that are also washable, and our project managers advise on the right specification for your building type and compliance requirements.

Do you respond to RFPs and provide tender documentation?

Yes. Our commercial project managers are proficient in reading and understanding RFPs. We provide documented product certifications, mock-up samples and a tender document to industry standard so all tenderers quote to the correct specification.

What are your health and safety credentials?

We comply with the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015, hold SITEWISE Gold accreditation, employ an in-house health and safety professional, and use site-safe commercial project managers.

Are your commercial products made in New Zealand?

All of our curtains and the majority of our blinds are custom-made in our Nelson workroom and factory. A small number of specialist products are made by carefully vetted partner manufacturers.

Do you offer automated or motorised blinds?

Yes. We supply automated tracks and blinds, including sunscreen blinds that respond to atmospheric conditions and motorised curtain tracks, as installed at Nelson Airport and Tūranga Christchurch Central Library.

Do you provide warranties and aftersales support?

Yes. Our products are backed by robust warranties, with operation and maintenance manuals supplied on completion, consistency of supply for future stages, and ongoing aftersales support.
