Our readymade curtains and blinds are made up in set sizes and ready to hang, so you can order online and have them delivered straight to your door. They’re a quick, affordable way to dress a window beautifully without waiting on a custom order.

Each product lists the sizes we make it in, with a simple guide to measuring your window. Measure the width and the drop, then pick the closest fit — and if you’re between sizes, size up rather than down. Not sure? Get in touch and we’ll happily talk it through.

If none of our readymade sizes suit your window, that’s exactly what our custom-made range is for. We’ll make your curtains or blinds to your precise measurements, in the fabric and style you want, and our team will measure and install it all for you. They are. Readymades arrive complete with everything you need to put them up yourself. If you’d rather we handled the measuring and installation, that’s part of our custom-made service.

Yes, we repair curtains and blinds, but only products that were originally bought through Russells. Depending on your region and installer availability, some repairs can be done on-site or at a local lockup. More technical repairs and alterations come back to our factories in Nelson. If your product is still under warranty, the repair may be covered; if it's out of warranty, charges apply for the van call-out, installer time, parts, shipping, and factory labour. Get in touch and we'll talk you through it.

No. We specialise in interior window furnishings like curtains, blinds and shutters. Insect screens are not currently part of our range.

We don't offer a cleaning service for curtains or blinds. We also don't recommend washing any of our curtains, not even dry cleaning; spot cleaning is best. For the full details, take a look at our Product Care Guide.
